Belief

We tend to believe what we want to believe.

“My kids will be so successful in the future.”

“That guy must be a bad person because he has tattoos all over him.”

“Vaccines will kill me slowly.”

“That country is dangerous and their people are all evil.”

“I work hard and I will be rich.”

“I am a good person and deserve the best since I always help others.”

Ironically, we like to convince others that “my belief is right and yours is wrong.”

However, there is no absolute right or wrong, which is why the world is full of diverse beliefs. Our perspectives shape our beliefs, and while we don't have to adopt all others' beliefs, we should be open to accepting their existence. Otherwise, we will constantly be irritated and never find inner peace.
