Choices

Every day we are making choices. Sometimes there seems no choice left for us, and sometimes there seems too many to make a decision.

“Should I cook or order takeout tonight?”

“Should I wear this shirt or that one?”

“I will quit my job because they don’t pay me well.”

The reason we struggle with choices is because we try to weigh the pros and cons and hope to make “the best choice” to get the most benefits. What we are not aware of is that the choices we are making at every moment are neither the best nor the worst. Some choices seem bad at that moment but it may make more sense a couple of years later. When it seems there’s no choice left, we should ask ourselves: what makes me eliminate all my choices?

Life has its own way to guide us moving forward.
